I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of Growth Era Counseling & Wellness, LLC! With over fourteen years of experience in the behavioral health field, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals during some of life’s most challenging and transformative moments.

My work has spanned both inpatient and outpatient settings, and these experiences have shaped my deep respect for the courage it takes to seek help and the many different paths healing can take.

In therapy, I bring a compassionate, practical, and real-life approach. I strive to create a space where you can slow down, feel safe, and begin to exhale — often for the first time in a long time.

Your nervous system learned how to survive.. therapy can help it learn how to feel safe again.

  • Many of the clients I work with are women and mothers who are exhausted in a way that sleep can’t fix.

They are high-achieving, capable, and deeply caring — yet overwhelmed by the constant pressure to do more, be more, and hold everything together.

On the outside, they often appear like they’re managing everything well. On the inside, they may feel anxious, depleted, stretched too thin, or unsure how long they can keep operating at this pace.

Therapy becomes a space to slow down, unpack that weight, and soften the pressure of perfectionism. Together, we work toward helping you offer yourself the same grace and compassion that you so freely give to others.

  • In our work together, we may focus on:

    • Understanding patterns that keep you feeling stuck
    • Regulating your nervous system and reducing overwhelm
    • Navigating life transitions with greater resilience
    • Building self-compassion and healthier boundaries
    • Processing grief and emotional pain in a supportive space
    • Feeling more grounded and present in your daily life

  • My approach to therapy is relational and integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities including:

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
    • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
    • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

These approaches help us better understand thoughts, emotions, patterns, and the ways we respond to life’s challenges.

  • I also incorporate somatic and nervous system–informed work, recognizing that healing doesn’t happen through insight alone — it happens in the body, too.

When we experience chronic stress, trauma, grief, or ongoing pressure, our nervous system can become stuck in patterns of survival. This can show up as constant anxiety, emotional overwhelm, burnout, difficulty resting, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others.

In our work together, we gently begin to notice and understand these patterns. Rather than pushing through or trying to “think your way out” of distress, we focus on helping your nervous system feel safer, more supported, and more regulated.

    This may include:

    • Building awareness of how stress and emotions show up in your body
    • Learning grounding and regulation tools to help your system settle
    • Slowing down patterns of overwhelm or emotional reactivity
    • Reconnecting with your body’s signals, needs, and boundaries
    • Creating more space between stress and your response to it

Over time, this work can help shift your nervous system out of constant survival mode and into a place of greater balance, resilience, and emotional steadiness.

This approach can be especially helpful for individuals experiencing chronic stress, trauma, burnout, emotional exhaustion, and the invisible weight of always feeling “on.”

I help people embrace their strengths while learning to cope and coexist with their vulnerabilities, pain, and grief.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in your own thoughts, you’re not alone. Many people come to therapy feeling unsure of where to start, whether it’s constant worry, stress that feels hard to manage, or a major life change that’s left you feeling ungrounded.

Therapy can feel vulnerable and challenging, but it can also bring relief, clarity, and even moments of lightness along the way. Life doesn’t come with an instruction manual, and sometimes having a space to slow down and make sense of things can make all the difference.

I strive to create a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment where you can show up exactly as you are. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, trauma, grief, and substance use recovery. Many of the individuals I support are moving through significant turning points—times that can feel disorienting, overwhelming, or filled with uncertainty.

Transitions can take many forms: the end of a relationship, a career change, recovery from addiction, becoming a parent, or stepping into a new stage of life. Even positive changes can bring stress, self-doubt, and a sense of losing your footing.

Together, we’ll create space to process what you’re going through, better understand your thoughts and emotions, and build tools to manage anxiety and stress more effectively. My approach balances empathy with gentle accountability, helping you move toward meaningful, sustainable change—at your own pace, and without judgment.

  • I work with adults navigating life transitions, trauma, grief, substance use recovery, and anxiety.

Many of the individuals I support are moving through significant turning points in life, which can often be some of the most disorienting and emotionally complex experiences we face.

Transitions can take many forms — the end of a relationship, a career shift, recovery from addiction, becoming a parent, moving into a new stage of life, or facing unexpected changes that alter the future you imagined.

Even positive changes can bring uncertainty, grief, and a sense of losing your footing.

During times like these, it’s common to feel overwhelmed, ungrounded, or unsure of who you are becoming.

Therapy offers a space to slow down and process what has changed. Together, we can explore the emotions that come with these transitions, make space for grief where it exists, and begin to build clarity, meaning, and direction moving forward.

  • In our work together, we may focus on:

    • Navigating major life transitions and identity shifts
    • Processing grief, loss, and unexpected life changes
    • Healing from trauma and complex past experiences
    • Building healthier coping strategies for anxiety and stress
    • Strengthening self-awareness and emotional regulation
    • Supporting substance use recovery and relapse prevention
    • Rebuilding trust in yourself and your decision-making

Therapy can help create space to understand your experiences more fully while also developing practical tools that support long-term change and stability.

  • My work is trauma-informed and collaborative, grounded in evidence-based approaches including:

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
    • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
    • Motivational Interviewing
    • Relapse Prevention

I tailor therapy to each individual, recognizing that no two people — and no two healing journeys — are the same.

Some sessions may focus on processing difficult experiences or exploring patterns that no longer serve you. Other times, we may focus on building practical skills that help you navigate stress, relationships, and everyday challenges in healthier ways.

In recovery-focused work, we explore not only the behavior itself, but also the underlying emotional experiences, triggers, and patterns that contribute to it. Together, we work toward developing new coping strategies, strengthening resilience, and creating a life that feels more stable and aligned with your values.

Throughout this process, my goal is to provide a space that is honest, grounded, and supportive — where you can work through difficult moments while also finding room for perspective, growth, and hope.
